Only Begotten

One of the main reasons we were given the Book of Mormon, was to straighten out the doctrine of God, so that we can have our faith centred in correct principles. This allows us to have a solid hope in the correct promises of Heavenly Father, which will allow us to accomplish His goals. One of the doctrines that the Book of Mormon teaches is the correct nature of God, and the correct nature of His children (us), and what we can achieve. The Son of Righteousness descended below all things, to show us the way to ascend. He showed us how to become a "Begotten". Instead of believing the false doctrine, that Yeshua was born demi-god, the Book of Mormon teaches us the truth: Yeshua was born a man, like us. He had to go forth step by step, the same as we do. Our Lord had to achieve the position of "Begotten", and He has promised to us, we too may achieve, becoming His Begottens!

Repent ye, repent ye, for the Kingdom of Heaven is nigh at hand; and not many days hence, the Son of God shall come in His glory. And His glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity and truth; full of patience, mercy, and long suffering; quick to hear the cries of His people, and to answer their prayers.
Since "glory" is what a person has achieved, then we can understand why Yeshua's glory shall be that of the "glory of the Only Begotten of the Father". What will be our glory?
And now, because of the covenant which ye have made, ye shall be called the children of Christ, His sons, and His daughters, for behold, this day He hath spiritually begotten you. For ye say that your hearts are changed, through faith on His name, therefore, ye are born of Him, and have become His sons, and His daughters.
If we live up to our covenants, we will be "Begotten" of Him! And just like His Father said unto Yeshua: "This day have I begotten thee." All the faithful will hear those words from the Lord Himself: Come unto me my beloved, for this day have I begotten thee!
