Signs In The Heavens

This dragon appeared in the sky above the village a little over a week ago.

And under the Dragon's mouth was this branch being burned.

When interpreting signs it is best not to jump to any conclusions, but to take it to the Lord in prayer, and inquire of Him for the interpretation. .

  1. I will be updating this post this week with more information, but I wanted to get this picture posted.

Under the dragon's mouth was a branch/tree burning. I will try to get that picture posted this week as well.

    2. Thanks Sally,
My apologies for not getting to this post when I said I would. I suspect I should use the qualifier 'God willing,' since I had a family emergency and was gone for a couple of weeks! I will get to work on the updated post right away. :-)

  2. It is well known that the ancients looked into the heavens for signs and wonders. Even the Prophet Joseph noted signs in the heavens. It is worth our attention to realize that God is very meticulous and governs all things, and as we pay attention to these things we have the opportunity to learn the mind of the Lord.

An important lesson that I have learned over the years, is that the Lord covers a lot of ground. He can and does often put forth light and knowledge that has many layers and great depth. With that in mind, this sign certainly means what it shows on the surface, but the question is: What is below the surface? What is the deeper meaning? What is coming next?

  3. "And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness."

The Lord is allowing the dragon, to test his people, to test a branch of His tree. He is putting them through the fire, and will purge them until they are pure.

  4. In Jacob, chapter 5, we read the allegory of the Olive Tree. In this allegory the Lord shows how he will graft many branches of the Olive Tree in various areas of His vineyard, then occasionally He goes around to test the fruit of each branch. Then when a branch does not bring forth good fruit, but instead brings forth evil fruit, it is cast into the fire and burned.
