With so many “prophets” around, I thought I would write some very easy tell-tale ways to recognize whether they are prophets of God, or of something else.
First and foremost, true prophets of God do not set themselves up as a light, they tell us to go directly to God Himself.
Second, true prophets of God teach correct principles and let the people govern themselves. They do not set up a hierarchy that must be obeyed to get to enter heaven.
There are many different types of prophets from God; of this there are many examples in the scriptures. Not all of the prophets of God stood in His presence, and many only knew the limited amount that they were taught, as with all of us. The prophets learned line upon line, precept upon precept. And one thing that true prophets know is that they are not the only one, God has several prophets. But with so many people today claiming to have stood in the presence of God, and then their behaviour does not coincide with being taught in the presence of God, I feel to bear witness of God and testify of what standing in the presence of God is really like, so that any frauds can easily be spotted.
The very first thing we learn when standing in the presence of God is who He really is. We learn about Him, about His true identity, His true character. That is the first thing we learn.
The second thing we learn is how much we mean to Him, and consequently, how much others mean to Him as well.
Once we know how much we mean to Him, we know how much others mean to Him. And when we know how much others mean to Him, we cannot behave the same way toward others again without going against what we were taught in the presence of God. Those who have stood in the presence of the Father would never cast anyone aside.
God is real. Heavenly Father is real. The Father and the Son are real people, and love us very much. There is no way to describe the volume, the intensity of love they have for us. It is something that must be experienced to be understood. There is a line of Fathers that extends through the eternities, and they are a beautiful sight, and our place is among them, as they are. They want us to become like them. To become one with them, as they are one.
