You Have To Believe

According to your faith, be it done unto you! 
~ Lord, Jesus Christ 

An elderly woman, who had been serving God for many years, had a small church beside her very modest house, where she preached and administered to those who came to see her.  She is a faith healer who herself, was in need of healing.  She had been hiding something from her congregation.  She had a lung disease and was dying. 

She had often prayed for healing, and waited patiently for the Lord.  It was her belief that she was not to use her gifts of healing selfishly, that she could not heal herself, so she prayed, and waited upon the Lord.  She prayed until one day someone arrived, a travelling missionary of sorts. 

The faithful servant of God was so happy to have her prayers answered.  Finally, after all this time, another servant of God was there to help her.  God answered her prayers!  But, was it really true?  Would God actually heal her, after all this time?  It was as if, all ofthis was too good to be true! 

She straightened up for the Lord, showing her congregation that God was Real, that He does listen to our prayers.  She stood amist those of her congregation, hesitantly telling them that she had been sick, that she had been hiding from them how serious her condition was, because she did not want them to worry about her, she did not want their faith in God to waiver!  She tried to explain to them what had happened to her, but she was still having a difficult time seemingly to tell the truth of the matter.  It was told to the visiting servant, by the translator, that the elder lady had a bladder infection. 

But, the Lord knows all.  The Holy Ghost whispered in the ear of the visiting missionary, and told him that the woman was sick in her lungs.  Then the prompting came; Go and heal her. 

There in front of her congregation, the missionary stepped forward and embraced the faithful servant of God, placing his chest against hers, he breathed in deeply, drawing the sickness into himself, then, tilting his head heavenward, expelled the sickness to God.  Twice he did this, but to the woman, it seemed too good to be true, and she held back, holding on to her sickness, afraid to let go, to believe that God would really heal her. 

The missionary asked; Do you believe? 

Yes, she replied. 

Then give it to me! 

The faithful old servant relaxed into the love of her God, totally turning herself over to His Holy Will.  Then, the third time; the missionary drew in a deep breath, sucking all the disease out of the reverend old mother, and breathed it out to God. 

The woman wept.  The congregation wept.  God had healed her!!  After all this time, God had healed her!  She was remembered by God!  She was not cast off forever!  She was worthy of the Father's love!  But, she had always been worthy.  She just needed to believe, that to God, she is everything!!  She just needed to accept, that God, her Father, Loves Her! 

Jesus came to find the lost sheep, but they are only lost to themselves.  The Father knows all His sheep, and will not leave any behind!  

Glory be to God in the Highest!!!

Confidence

Is it bad, to keep the confidences of others? 

Do Doctors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Counsellors, Ministers, Lawyers, and etc., do wrong in keeping the confidences of their clients? 

Is signing legal non-disclosure agreements binding? 

Then, how much more binding are covenants made before God? 

How many times did Jesus ask people to keep his confidences? 

Would any of us like our closest, and most trusted friends and associates, to reveal those things which we have entrusted to them? 

Joseph Smith was recorded as saying, "The reason we do not have the secrets of the Lord revealed unto us, is because we do not keep them, but reveal them; we do not keep our own secrets, but reveal our difficulties to the world, even to our enemies, then how would we keep the secrets of the Lord?  'I can keep a secret till Doomsday'.  What greater love hath any man than that he lay down his life for his friend, then why not fight for our friend until we die." 

Any person who breaks the confidence of a friend or associate, especially when under covenant or obligation to keep that confidence, has betrayed that friend or associate, and has broken their covenants, and destroyed their most sacred obligations. 

A Gossip revealeth secrets, but he that is faithful keepeth a confidence.

A Father's Love

About a couple of weeks ago, folks in the United States were riled up over the passing of abortion laws that would impact other laws in their country.  People were distraught, a friend of mine was on his deathbed, within a couple days another friend had told me about two deaths in her family, and right around that time another friend told me about the tragedy of suicide happening among his circle of associates.  There was a lot going on. 

It was during this time, in the midst of these tragedies that I inquired of the Lord what was going on.  I took a look into the spirit world to see.  There was a great, huge, massive army in formation above the Pacific Ocean, being led by a very experienced general of Satan.  It was a massive sight!  This general had a very specific and proven strategy for his attack.  His warriors would attack the United States, starting with the west coast.  These evil spirits would flood inland, attaching themselves to everyone, ganging up on people.  They would be relentless.  For this time, they had a great new strategy!  They will take the sweet approach. 

They are to attach to the people, whisper in their ears, gratifying their pride, and giving them a pleasant feeling of entitlement and justification.  This appeal to their pride will get the people to lower their standards, lower their morality, which will feed the evil military, giving them strength to keep going.  If nothing is done, the morals of the US society will fall drasticly, setting the stage for the physical destructions upon the nation.  Unfortunately, the people will not even notice that they are being influenced, instead, many will feel empowered, not knowing that the self-righteous feeling is actually coming from the father of lies himself. 

While in the spirit world, I asked the Lord how to protect ourselves from this attack.  I was told, that to protect ourselves, we need to apply the ordinances spiritually.  If the ordinances are not applied spiritually, they are only dead works.  The devils cannot attach to those people who apply the ordinances spiritually. 

The Heavenly Father is telling us of these things, because He wants His children to be safe.  Father loves us so much, that He gives us good advice and counsel to give us the greatest possible chance at protecting ourselves and progressing.  But, we need to apply the counsel ourselves.  We need to take His advice seriously.  So, do not take my word for it.  Go directly to the God of love, and ask.

Late One Night

It was late one night when I was awakened.  A neighbour, an elderly grandmother, had arrived with her little grandson, who was around 3 years old.  The grandmother had a fretful look on her face.  She had been up tending to her grandson, but she seemed to be far more concerned about disturbing someone, by going to their house so late at night.  Yet, having little choice, she brought grandson and pleaded for help. 

The little boy was suffering from a toothache.  Upon inspection the cavity was quite visible.  The little boy was crying, and I was informed that the little boy had been crying for hours.  The Holy Spirit whispered to annoint the tooth with consecrated oil.  The pain, very quickly began to subside.  I also administered a natural remedy to get rid of the bacteria, and gave a blessing.  The boy was doing better, but was still having difficulty.  I administered the same proceedure again, and the boy responded.  He stopped crying, and the grandmother was able to take him home to sleep. 

To watch the Lord tend to a child is an amazing experience.  His care and guidance is astounding.  The child no longer complained of a toothache.  I watched him play for days, happy and healthy.

Loaves And Fishes

When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.  

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.  

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.  

But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.  

And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.  

He said, Bring them hither to me.  

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  

And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  

And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.  

~ Matthew 14:13-21  

They were a new family in the Gospel.  They had been baptized, and were well on their way to learning about and keeping their new faith.   They had learned that God loved them, that God was real, and that All that God did in the scriptures for others, He would do for them as well.  Their faith was strong and growing! 

Being a poor family, they gathered as much funds as they could, to have a birthday celebration for two of their members.  They invited their friends and neighbours.  Everyone was so excited!  But, as the celebration grew close, they began to worry that there would not be enough food for all of their guests.  So they importuned the Lord.  They had learned of what Elijah had done in the name of the Lord, for the widow at Zarephath, how the flour and the oil would not run out, until God would once again send rain upon the earth.  They knew that God could, and would, do something for them.  And indeed, He did! 

The promise came.  Their food would not run out, and they would have plenty and to spare! 

People came.  Many people came!  And the food dishes refused to empty.  Family members could not stop giggling for joy, and expressing their amazement at the miracle that was happening right infront of their eyes.  The next morning, they still had food left over to send out to their neighbours! 

The gifts of God are for all those who follow Him, who keep His commandments, who strive with all their hearts.
